The annual juried exhibition of the National Sculpture Society, the oldest professional organization of sculptors in America, presents the work of masters alongside rising stars in American sculpture.

Only 42 works were selected to exhibit out of 204 artists who submitted 920 images. “Rain of Faith” by Ryan T. Schmidt was one of the sculptures selected by the Jurors: Meredith Ward, Peter Bulow and Richard Blake. A 5-foot version of the sculpture will be installed as a hanging-piece in the Pavilion of the Brookgreen Gardens during the exhibition.

About the Venue:

Brookgreen Gardens is a unique public sculpture garden that combines a botanical garden with outdoor sculptures & exhibits of wild animals. It has been a cultural center for the community showcasing extraordinary art, nature and history.

About the Artist:

For over 15 years, Ryan T. Schmidt has turned arcs, curves, and smooth lines into fine stainless steel sculptures. His mission is to share the gift of inspiration through reflection with the passion for stainless steel for inspirational thoughts and contemplation of existence. He desire to build sculptures that will last for many generations to come.
